Book covers not showing up

I hope I'm not celebrating prematurely, but I bought an eBook today and downloaded it via the 3G connection on my Nook 1st Ed. and THE COVER DOWNLOADED TOO!  Not only that, but when I checked for updates, it KEPT ALL MY EXISTING COVERS!. 

THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU B&N!  (gush, gush, gush)  You have returned full functionality back to my Nook!  This means a lot!

Too good to be true?  Perhaps... once again, the book covers are not showing up when downloading ebooks to the Nook 1Ed/3G.  It was working for a while.  What gives???
