Book will not open

Getting error message  " Sorry unable to open this book

I had this problem and support helped me this way

Highlight book in library

go to view item details & options

select archive

go back to library screen, select check for new B&N content

Book should now be in grey text

select book again in library

go to view item details & options

select unarchive

go back to library screen, select check for new B&N content

book now in dark text

select book and open.

Like another reply to this problem, thank you very much for the instructions.  My nook kept telling me, "sorry, cannot open this book."  Your step-by-step instructions worked perfectly.  I saved them in case it happens again, and also for my sister who just purchased a nook.

I have a Simple Touch -  2 books will not open. I have tried archiving and unarchiving but there is nothing anywhere that refers to "new B&N content". I have upgraded to the latest software version (1.1.2) - still these books will not open. I have 24 books now and only have a problem with 2. Any suggestions?
