So, I've had my nook for almost a week. Wonderful. I finally decide to purchase books, to go on my nook from the PC, and suddenly, I can't check for new B&N content, and there's an error message saying to call the trouble shoot hotline. I'm really not sure what to do. Help?

cannot download apps. tried download then says "downloading", then "installing" then goes back to "download". Tried archiving and returning to app page, not working. lost money on apps that will not download.

The First Edition Nook doesn't have downloadable applications.
So far as I know, NONE of the e-Ink Nooks have apps.
So… You are not only in the wrong area, but also failed to identify which model you have, so we can't direct you to the proper area.
