Disable Shop on Nook

I would like to disable the "Shop" screen on my Nook device, therefore leaving the ability to buy to the B&N website only.  Does anyone know if this is possible?

Basically, I bought a Nook for my pre-teen daughter, but do not want her to buy books without my permission.  I figure I can do this if I limit buying to the website.  Any suggestions?

Easiest way is to require password for all purchases from the Nook.  Then don't tell her the password.

Is this a specific setting on the device or is it on the web account?

It's within the settings on the Nook itself.  Don't have mine handy, but it shouldn't be hard to find.  Your daughter would not be able to turn off the setting without having the password.
