Help on error message

Question
I keep getting the following error message whenever I hit the "Shop" button on my Nook for PC
This file does not have a program associated with it for performing this action. Create an association in the Set Associations control panel

You probably should ask over in the NOOK Apps Tech Support forum: http://bookclubs.barnesandnoble.com/t5/NOOK-Apps-Technical-Support-iPad/bd-p/eReaders

 

My first guess would be that you need to reinstall NOOK for PC.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled twice still get the same message, but I will repost this

If there is anyone out there that can Help me  PLEASE do. I bought my nook WiFi two months ago and am already having trouble with it!! I bought 3 books and downloaded them with no problems till last night when I went to BN.com and bought my fourth book. When I went to my library {on nook} it ask me to register my Nook.I tapped on register now, I submitted my password and all that come up is that it could not be registered. and had Error c7851. Does anyone know what this means because the tech support sure doesn't. I have called them twice today and all they have to say is wait one to two hours and try again. I have tried at least four times and still the same message. HELP
