How do I change the registration on a Nook?

My dad just got a new color Nook for his birthday, and he wants to give me his old black and white Nook that isn't all that old.  What we're trying to find out is how does he transfer his library of books to his new nook ( all bought at B&N ) and how do we change the registration of his old nook into my name from his?  Thanks to anyone who has an answer!

The transfer will be automatic. His B&N e-books are associated with his B&N account. When he registers his NOOK Color with the account, he'll have access to his e-books.

To transfer the old NOOK, just go into Settings>Device Settings and unregister it. Then register it with the new account. You'll need to have a wireless connection for both unregistering and registering.
