Library, no wifi

I live in a place with no wifi. My nook has 88 books on it, but my online library has 144. I used my USB cord to access my nook via my PC and deleted the books that were on it, downloaded all of them again, and added them back on. Except they didn't actually delete or add back on apparently because there is no difference in my nook. I looked in my library (on the nook) and in the documents sections: nothing new. It's fully charged and I've tried turning it off and back on. Help?

Re: Library, no wifi

If you sideload books using the USB connection you have to put them in the My Documents folder, even if they are B&N books.

On your Nook you need to switch to My Documents to see the books (search for new content to update the books list).

That worked, thank you! But since apparently the old stuff did not delete from my nook, do you happen to know how I'd go about that?

Are you using a Mac?

A Mac it will put the deleted files into a hidden trashcan folder, and the Nook will still show those books. You will have to delete that trashcan folder.

No, I'm on a PC. But that may work there too. Thanks for all your help!
