My N1E, which I've had for just a couple of weeks over a year, is starting to flake out on me. The touchscreen is becoming less and less responsive. It sometimes takes me 5 or more taps of varying pressures and finger-coverages to get it to work and it's getting to be sooo sluggish. Sometimes I press the next-page button and it skips 2 or 3 pages ahead. Accessing My Documents is a tedious endeavour.
I tried rebooting the Nook and it helped slighly, but really not that much. Are there any other things I can try to get my Nook back to the operating condition it was in before?
I don't want to buy a new one because this one's not that old!

Let's add excessive ghosting to the list too. Every screen other than the book I'm reading is showing significantly more ghosting than it had before.
I guess I'll be getting a new one soon. I'll wait until the next generation comes out in the spring...if it's e-ink.
