I had downloaded some PDF files of some independant authors eBooks. Their books were enrolled in Kindle Select so they did not offer them through B&N. I recieved the PDF files directly from the author himself and side loaded them into My Documents. Today when I tried to update my library, I was told that there was no connection, but when I went to the eShop, I was able to access it just fine. Thinking there could be a problem with the PDFs, I deleted them and was able to update my library just fine after that.
Is there a problem with sideloading PDF files on the NOOK?

I am having the same issue. It comes up as Network Unavailable. At first I thought it was internal, but I can connect to the shop. I can buy but just can't read. There are no issues with the Nook for PC though, just the Nook itself.
