I have a Nook 1 st edition that I purchased a year ago. Until 2 weeks the wifi worked fine but then we started sharing the router with our neighbors. First day nook recognized the wifi signal but I did not connect. The next day the wifi disappeared. I turned on/off the nook, now it keeps servicing for connections but cannot find any.
I installed updates manually and tried to unregister but since there is no connection I cannot. My flatmate has another type of e-reader and he can perfectly connect to wifi. I also tried searching for network connections in places where i was sure there was wifi but no luck.
Also, with the last update attempt, the time settings changed. It is on the right time zone but show the wrong time...
It is quite frustrating not to be able to fix it. If anyone has a solution or experienced same kind of problem any suggestions would be much appreciated
