Nook Connectivity Problems

Ok, so I've scoured the site and haven't found anything real solid on this one. I am getting the imfamous "network unavailable" response when trying to connect to the store. I decided to toss up a wifi signal from my android device (security settings enabled - password). My nook hopped right on to that network and loaded up the store like it was supposed to. So I know that my network security is the problem. I just do not know what to fix... any of you IT people know how to help me out? To add insult to injury... I can browse the internet on my nook via my home network... just no access to the store. I have a Zyxel wireless router that was purchased through embarq, if that has anything to do with anything.

Have you tried searching the boards for your router to see if someone else has had the issue and worked through it? There's also a post somewhere detailing various router settings, I'm just not sure where that particular thread is.
