I have run into a interesting problem with 2 NE1's 3g I own. While they will connect to my home wifi, they will not download books, use the store etc. They work fine on 3g. But Wi-Fi they won't download. They DO work at other locations such as a B&N store so I know the hardware is ok, so it must be a setting but I have yet to find out which one.
Even more interestingly two different routers produce the same problem (a old Linksys and a new Asus reflashed with DD-wrt). Security is off so that is certainly not the issue. I have tried B and G only to no avail. The signal strength is fine and it does find and connect but then won't let me do anything more. If I try to download a book it starts then a minute later "unable to download...network issue try again later" or something to that effect. Any ideas? It is a bit of a mystery.

Ok a little update. Upon further testing I have managed to get my Nook to use Wi-Fi somewhat. It connects, I can browse the shop or search. But when I try to purchse a book I get Buy For ____ the confirm then the nook freezes and won't complete the transaction. 3g works fine. I have tried many many different settings in both my routers to no avail. Everything else can use them fine. The nook also won't download books when in wifi mode. Again it will work in other locations such as a B&N store. it doesn't make any sense at all. Anyone have any ideas?
BTW-I also saw that someone said the "wifi multimedia setting" might be better off. I tried it and it seemed to help in that I can browse the shop but still not download or purchase anything.
