Nook Simpletouch problem

I havent touched my nook in about 3 months. I powered it off, Now it wont power on?! I held the button down for 50 secoonds but the screen stays the same... Any suggestions?

Even though you powered it off first, the battery would still have run down some during those three months. It's probably dead. Try charging it for a few hours. Don't panic if the charge light doesn't come in right away. It may take a while.
