Shelves a Disappointment

I had 4 pages of books before I arranged them into shelves. After I created the shelves I have 4 pages of books. B&N dropped the ball and you should be able to close the shelves to clean-up the display. It is like rearranging deck chairs on the Tiatanic.

I agree. It would have been better to just use a "folder" system, like on any file system. Then you wouldn't have to see what's in a folder unless you open it. It would also be a lot easier to just drag-and-drop into folders using your computer and USB cord.

I think we need collapsible shelves.

Folders would mean that a book could only be categorized one way.  I have some books on four shelves.  I could make it work with folders, but I like the ability to put one book on the Fantasy shelf, also on the Sci-Fi shelf, in the Favorites shelf and in the Lend Me shelf as well.
