Skipping pages !

When I turn the page it skips ahead 2 pages; to get on the correct page I have to take 2 steps forward and one step back every time. Getting a bit old. Please help!

Re: Skipping pages !

Mine has never done that, not with books purchased from B&N or from books I got elsewhere.  I'd advise you to contact customer support

Re: Skipping pages !

Are you using the buttons or the swipe method to change pages?  if the buttons perhaps its a stickimg button.  Probably will need CS to replace the Nook.

The book I just started reading -- Cutting for Stone -- is also skipping pages though not every time I turn the page. This happens whether I swipe or use the page forward button; it usually skips 2 pages occasionally 3. As the book is poorly formatted I thought this was simply an anomaly for this book. I finished 2 other books this last week & numerous books since I got the nook last Feb. & have never seen this behavior.

Re: Skipping pages !

I too have experienced page skipping while pressing the >. The only way I know it is page skipping is when the sentance doesn't make sense. When I press < it skips 2 pages back, then pressing > will advance only 1 page. Looks like I will be getting a new device.

Re: Skipping pages !

I have the same issue and called Digital Support and they told me to Power Off then back on.that was the only solution I got out of them which with all these people having this issue I think they need to look into it a little more than power off then on. Please post if you received a different solution
