Sorry! Activity Settings (in activity reader)is not responding

Sorry! Activity Settings (in activity reader)is not responding.  I am receiving this message frequently. Does anyone know what this means?

Some one else reported these messages.

It seems a power down to off might have fixed it.  But you might need to search the boards.

Re: Sorry! Activity Settings (in activity reader)is not responding

I'm getting the message all the  time now. Never saw it until the last week. I've powered down and powered back up - no luck. I did a reset and a restore. Still happens. Doesn't matter what book I'm trying to read (and I don't purchase the "enhanced" versions). I called Tech Support, they said it wasn't a "known" issue (after asking if I had the latest software, which I do) tho it's all over the boards. I think I'm going to end up ditching my Nook and going with Kindle Fire. I've been having increasing numbers of problems with the Nook and the tech support is a joke (sorry but when you can't actually provide a solution, no matter what, it's not really support).

See my reply to your post in the NC support board.

By the way Kindle devices are not miracle devices that never have any problem. Perhaps you should do some reading first in Amazon's Kindle forum.

I admire Amazon's PR department because so many people seem to think that Amazon has succeeded in creating electronic devices that will never have any problem:smileyhappy:
