Syncing between Nook 1st Edition and Andoid App

I'm having some issues syncing between my Nook 1st edition and the andoid app on my phone.  I have all the settings correct and can get my nook to sync to the last page read on my phone with the andoid app but can't get it to work the other way around.

I have tried exiting the book on my Nook, making sure wi-fi is on and done everything I can think of to update it to B&N so I can access it on my phone via the andoid app.  Any help or suggestions?

Did you tell your NOOK to sync? It doesn't happen automatically. With the e-book open on the NOOK, select Go To > Last Page Saved on B&N.

I can't get N1E to sync with NC and NST.  And, yes, I do the "go to last page saved on B&N."  N1E tells me it's "processing" (or some such verbal descriptor), but the sync never happens.    I don't remember if the reverse -- syncing NC and/or NST with N1E -- works or not.  Hmm.  I'll try that later.

I am having the same issue with my 1st edition syncing to android and vice versa. I am on the phone with technical support right now. The first two techs I have talked to are apparently English novices.

Ditto w/me. Nook 1st addition, toshiba thrive and droidx...nothing is synching any more, very annoying.
