Why can't I turn my nook on???

I haven't used it in a week or two. I plugged it in and the yellow indicator light is on, but I can't seem to turn the actual screen on. I've tried holding down the button and all that, and nothing. Help?

Sounds like your battery completely discharged while your Nook wasn't being used.
Let it charge for a few hours, then try turning it on again.

I would still recommend giving it an hour or two to charge before you use it, though. And in the future, let it go into sleep mode for short (including overnight) idle times and, if it will be off for more than a day, power it down. And charge it as soon as the "Time to charge your Nook" message comes up.
