changing text size

I just got my Nook yesterday. It's great and fairly user friendly but I have a few things I cant figure. How do you change the font and text size? I have tried what they recommend but I dont see the submenus they say should be there. Also, is there a dictionary? I am reading books either from the library or previously purchased and stored on ADE. Do you have to purchase B&N books in order to access these features? Any help is appreciated. Terri

Re: changing text size

(I presume that you're talking about a NOOK 3G or a NOOK Wi-Fi.)

You need to scroll the menu. The items you're looking for are farther down.

The text font and size is under Preferences. The dictionary is under "Look up word".

A lot of times it is simple.  If you check out the link in Doug's signature, you'll find a lot of useful information.

Enjoy.

Check the User Guide: page 121-122 for the font/size; page 129 for the dictionary.
