How long has it been since you last used your reader?
Did you turn your reader off the last time you used it? If you didn't turn the reader off did you put it in "airplane mode"?
Have you tried plugging your reader into the USB cable and AC adaptor overnight to recharge it? When you attempt to recharge it does the LED next to the USB port light up (it might take a few minutes to come on)? Do any drive partitions show up on your computer when you use the USB cable to attach your reader to the computer?
Do you know how to remove the back cover of your reader and the battery? Have you tried removing the battery for an hour or so and reinstalling it?
Do you have one of B&N's reader applications on a computer, smartphone or tablet? Have you downloaded the Nook User Guide into the software reader so you can access the user guide without your hardware reader?
