how can i download books without wifi

can i plug my nook into the computer and download books ive bought to the nook, without having acess to wifi?

Yes you can, it is called side-loading, but you will, of course need internet access on your computer.
Do a search for sideloading and you should find what you need.

Check the USB Connectivity section in the Nook User Guide (pg 148). It will explain the connectivity and where to copy the books to from your PC.

BTW, in my post, I just assumed you do not have the 3G+Wifi, if you have the 3G one, you can purchase books via your computer at B&N.com or using the shop on your nook, and then open your library and press the check for new B&N content button.

If you sideload, you'll need to do it to My Documents, not My B&N LIbrary. There's also a video on www.nook.com under FAQ and Support, I believe.
