nook Screen saver stuck-help!

I have an odd one.  My nook Screen saver is stuck.  And the kicker is, it is stuck on an image that I have deleted from the device. 

Let me repeat that.  The Image that my nook displays for the screensaver is NO WHERE on my device any more. 

I have attempted to select 'cityscape' or another screensaver, but it still reverts to the image. 

any help please?  thank you!

Have you tried powering your Nook down to white screen, giving it a moment, then powering back up again?

*ETA*  If your computer is a Mac, check your Nook to determine whether the Mac has set up a Trash folder on it, and the old screensaver is lurking there.  There have been lots of reports of Macs doing that -- another example of Jobs substituting his judgement for yours.  If it's there, delete it and you should be fine.
