Does anyone know if the Nook capable of handling the temperature and humidity of a sauna?

The information your looking for is in your user guide, which is available either on your nook (in My Documents) or on the B&N website.

It specifically says the nook shouldn't be used in temperatures above 104 degrees. They are also an electronic device. And we all know that electronic devices and water don't mix well. I would not recommend using in a sauna.

Re: reading in the sauna

There are "rain jackets" for the nook that are designed for using while bathing or at the beach. With the excessive steam of a sauna though, use at your own risk.

For anyone else who might read this old thread I wanted to point out that he asked about a Sauna. Saunas and steam rooms are two different things. But the temperatures of saunas do exceed 104 degrees so it's a moot point.
