Bluetooth keyboard

I am thinking of moving from a Nook Color to a Nook HD. I would really like to be able to use a keyboard. Does anyone know if there is a bluetooth keyboard that will work?

Re: Bluetooth keyboard

Do a search for bluetooth keyboard. There have been several theads about it, listing which ones work and which ones haven't. That will give you a pretty good idea about what's been successful.

Re: Bluetooth keyboard

I bought a case with a bluetooth keyboard a few months ago, it is made by IPOETIC and I think I got it from Amazon, it works great and it was not very expensive,

Re: Bluetooth keyboard

Just wanted to say that I got a nice, cheap Bluetooth keyboard that is fully functional with the Nook HD. It's the GE Bluetooth Universal Keyboard, available at Target for $40. I had tried a more expensive Logitech one to no avail, and I'm aware that others have been tried and found to be incompatible, but this one fits the bill perfectly.

While I'm on the subject, I also picked up a sweet HP Bluetooth mouse from Best Buy for $15. It's the H3T51AA. Works like a charm too. With these and my B&N cover that doubles as a stand, I feel like I have a mini laptop when I need one.

Mouse (says $20, but I got it for $15): http://www.bestbuy.com/site/HP+-+Wireless+Bluetooth+Laser+Mouse+-+Black/6894365.p?id=1218811214782&s...

I also applied the clear screen protector to my Nook HD+. It is invisible, and after a bad experience with a scratch, I highly recommend adding one to protect your screen: http://www.barnesandnoble.com/p/clear-screen-film-kit/25227103?ean=9780594450665&isbn=9780594450665

Re: Bluetooth keyboard

If anybody lives near a Fry's Electronics, they have (or at least had) a Bluetooth keyboard for $20 with a $10 mail-in rebate. Those rebates are always dicey, but even at the full $20, it might be worth it for anybody who just wants to test an external keyboard.

Mind you, it's a cheap unit. It works, but keycaps pop off easily and there's no carrying case. I had to put it in a padded pocket in my bag. There are also a couple of sharp metal edges if you drag your finger horizontally along an edge row.

It worked fine on my Samsung tablet. I'm not able to test it on an actual HD/+

Re: Bluetooth keyboard

Just a week or two ago I ordered this from Amazon http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00AV1UWWY/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

It is a cover with a kickstand and a detachable keyboard; $34.95.  It works beautifully.

I second this recommendation.  I purchased this and it works great.  I have had mine for about 3 weeks.
