Unfortunately BookloverUT B&N usually store staff are the last to know what is going on.  I was at my local B&N staff talking to both their inhouse Nook expert & the day time store manager and neither one had been informed of the Nook line changes or seen anything from HQ about anything related.

Yes, except that what BookloverUT was told is exactly the same as what B&N said in their statement, so in this case, the store staff did have the correct info.

I totally agree. If I didn't already have two other tablets, besides my Nook HD+, I would run out and get another one. It's simply the best deal on the tablet market at the present.
