I click on it, it takes me to a webpage, theres only one option available for download, it is the MyNOOKSetup.dmg.zip file. Isn't dmg for macs? I can't open this in any case, I downloaded windows media player 11 because i read in the FAQ that might be a problem, but I can't open it with that or explorer. What do I need to do now?

If so, you may have to do some searching within these forums or the web to help clear your drivers before updating them again.
Hope this helps.

Ok here is the link I get when I click on MyNOOK Setup.html:
This makes me download a .dmg file. Apparently those are only for Macs, I just need a linkt to download a setup file for XP.

Ok I think I found the right email, that was way more difficult than it should have been heh. Uh if anyone has any ideas though I would appreciate them. I'm really confused why this is so hard, why would the setup file only be good for macs? I can't imagine they dont have a windows option.

Do you have HD or HD+.
What software version are you on?
Word Search, Kriss Kross, Quote Falls, Hangman - Word Game Pack.
Alarm Clock, Weather, Calendar, ToDo - Alarm Clock & Calendar.
3 Hidden Objects Adventures - 3 Hidden Objects Adventures.

Sorry for the trouble you've had. We'll also be rolling out OTA updates shortly. You can force the OTA by doing the following:
Tap Settings > Device Information > Software Version . Check for updates
Hope this helps!

I have HD, I unplugged the cable from the computer and plugged it back in and now have an internal storage folder. Progress! Right now i'm trying to follow their directions for the software update. Very excited that something new is happening now.
