I have found so much help looking through the postings here and love my new Nook HD+ even more so.
Here's my next hurdle that I can use people's help with specific to my non-B&N, DRM free, and non-ACSM eBooks:
Is it possible to get rid of the duplicate eBooks listed under the 'Books' and 'My Files' (Computer\MyNOOK\Internal Storage\My Files\Books) section in my Nook HD+ Library.
Those in the 'Books' section of the Library have their covers, but those in the 'My Files' section have a generic icon.

They are not duplicate ebooks. The books in "My files" are the actual ebook file, but for ease of use, the books also are linked to show in the book section of My Library" and on any shelves you assign them to. If you delete the ebook in either place, it will be totally deleted from your nook.

I get duplicates. Sometimes 3 or 4. Only one copy is active. I have tried deleting the everything in the books file and re copying all of my books from my computer. Guess what? That made it worse.
This is really the only issue I have with the Nook HD+. And it is a minor one I guess. I have shelves set up that works fine.
