I'm having problems with my Nook

My Nook is saying it is connected to my computer but my computer is Saying that my Nook isn't connected. My computer is ran by Window Vista. Can someone pleas help me?

If the data cord is not damaged, leave it connected and turned on (nook) and reboot the PC. Let us know if this helped.

It's a small world afterall except when your far away.

Do you get a dialog/screen on Nook saying it's connected?

 

In that case you probably have a Tablet or Color.

 

Did you go to 'Computer' on your PC and check if a drive shows up?

 

If you have Tablet or Color then a drive will show up along with other drives in Computer page. It'll be named MyNook.

 

If you have HD or HD+ then a MyNook device will show up under Devices section.
