I was aware in the past that the wishlists created on the devices were only stored locally on the device. They were not saved online and when a device was reset, users would have to create a new wishlist on the device. This was fine and dandy as far as I was concerned, except for when I bought a book BEFORE I took it off the wishlist. This left a book on the wishlist that I COULD NOT REMOVE. Resetting the device would fix this, as it erased the local wishlist along with everyhting else.
Fast forward to today. I did a random erase/deregister because I am a complete geek and like to reset my computers/devices every once in awhile. While setting up my preferences again, I went to go manually enter books into my wishlist. TO MY ABSOLUTE HORROR I found my wishlist intact including all of my purchased books that could not be removed.
So, this brings me to 2 questions:
1) Apparently the device wishlist is now stored online, possibly hidden with the profile database. That's fine, and a sign of progress. But can I please be allowed to edit this list online?
2) IF I BUY A BOOK THAT IS ALREADY ON THE WISHLIST CAN'T IT JUST AUTOMATICALLY BE REMOVED FROM THE WISHLIST?
