Hi my little sister turning 12 next month and I have just been told by my mom that She's getting a nookcolor. I was wondering what books do you think might be good for her to read? Any suggestions will be welcomed. I'm excited about it too because I have the Nook and I'm going to love to get to play with a color a bit.

Tastes vary, especially with kids when genders vary, but books my son loves.
* Harry Potter (getting this out of the way first, because it's not available as an eBook)
* Fablehaven series and Candy Shop Wars (currently only available in Kindle format as eBooks, but I'm REALLY hoping this changes soon)
* Septimus Heap series (http://productsearch.barnesandnoble.com/search/res
* Percy Jackson series and other titles by Rick Riordan(http://productsearch.barnesandnoble.com/search/res
* Inheritance Cycle trilogy (http://productsearch.barnesandnoble.com/search/res
* Simon Bloom series (http://productsearch.barnesandnoble.com/search/res
* Artemis Fowl series (http://productsearch.barnesandnoble.com/search/res
* Warriors and to a lesser extent Seekers series (these series are about cats and bears respectively, and despite the title is generally one that both genders love, http://productsearch.barnesandnoble.com/search/res
I'm sure there's a lot more that he'd recommend, though that's all I can think of right now. Some that I've previewed for him that he's not gotten into yet, but that I think are good reads include:
* Rangers Apprentice series (http://productsearch.barnesandnoble.com/search/res
* Inkheart series (not available as eBooks)
* Charlie Bone/Children of the Red King series (not available as eBooks)
* A Wrinkle in Time series (http://productsearch.barnesandnoble.com/search/res
* Narnia series (http://productsearch.barnesandnoble.com/search/res

Thank you that's very helpful but, let me ask why your son didn't get into Narnia? CS Lewis is classic.
Also I love Ranger Apprentice myself, I'm a little confused that their are books of the series not on e-book I was looking like a month ago or two months ago, there's 9 books but only like 6 of them available.

It's not that he won't, just that he hasn't.
He's seen the movies and loved them, so he'll get around to reading the books at some point, and will love them. He's only 9, though, and has a very large list of books to read, so he's just not gotten around to reading them yet. The books I listed as "he's not gotten into yet" are books he's not read yet, but that I suspect he'll like.
It looks like all of the Ranger's Apprentice books are available now. I'd assume when you looked they just hadn't finished the process of converting to eBook format.

All of the Ranger's Apprentice ebooks were available last year, but they all got pulled around the same time the NOOKcolor was released. A lot of ebooks seemed to get temporarily pulled at that time. They are all available again now.

That's great, OK it was right when I got my nook on x-mas that I checked and it was frusrating cause the ones that pulled, here you have book 1, and book 2, but forget book 3, get book 4, forget book 5, i wished if you not going have the set at least remove them after a certain point like have the first 3 books and not the others? but it's great that the books are back on, I'll download the series for myself next month when i get a GC.

If your sister likes inspirational or meaningful books for older children or young adults, please consider my ebook! It is only 99 cents, but has gotten great reviews, including recommendations from children's counselors and therapists. This book is one that anyone who has lost a loved one can relate to. Even adults have said they loved the story and were deeply touched by it.
