Hi Everyone,
Today our NOOK Issue Exchange was reactivated. Updated with new statuses and better tracking.
This will not replace our current support forums and ultimately will serve as a better conduit of feedback between yourselves and our development team.
With that said, a few things you can expect:
- Better transparency in relation to your concerns and our developers.
- Weekly updates/comments on reported issues.
There may be instances where an update may not be given initially, rest assured everything is being received and followed up on. However, the absolute BEST way to ensure an issue isn't missed or overlooked is to make it easily visible to us all. Please make your voice heard via the built in Kudo system.
Thank you all for your help and continued support.

Hey Keriflur,
Good question, this will include everything NOOK. From site to apps, however anything CS related or policy related will be moved to the corresponding board.

Alex:
Note that the forum software does not show the date of any of your posts here. Unless someone responds (their response shows a date), we have no idea when your post was made.

Alex, underlining Dean's point, the dates have been missing from blog post bylines here for many months. I and others have repeatedly asked about fixing this since last July if not earlier.
I'm now 100% convinced that it's not a bug in the Lithium software, but rather a configuration setting. Or if it's not a simple setting, it's a line in an editable template for blog posts. The reason I'm sure is that I've done some further research and come across this blog on the Lithium site. Note that the bylines are configured differently than the ones here. It's obviously possible to include the date.

I've discovered a workaround for the blog post missing date issue. Click on the author's name in the post byline. That takes you to the author's profile page, where recent posts are listed in the bottom half of the screen, with a "Posted" column giving the date and time. Awkward, but it works when you really want to know the date. I do hope this will get fixed properly before too long.

When are you going to address all the things the new update MESSED UP? Why on earth would I not want to be able to remove my books from my shelves like I was able to before? And why wouldn't I want to see what shelf it is on? Adding something to a shelf, then you go back and hit the item again - same shelf still there but before it would be gone if it was on THAT SHELF. Does anyone actually beta test this stuff before its released or do you just consistently rely on your own customers to be your beta testers and when we ask you about OBVIOUS mistakes - you go (if we even get a response that is) "oops working as intended."

Facebook status updates do not work with the new update. At first, I did not even have the option to post my reading status to Facebook. Then all of a sudden it came back, however it is still messed up. For instance when I was reading my nookbook "Insane City" by Dave Barry I posted my reading status. Now I am done that book. I opened up another one - The Beginning by Catherine Coulter. When I hit post reading status, I get Post Reading Status for Insane City.
