WHen you get to the Nook Press page, get to the sign in page. The get started orange button didn't go anywhere, the page pnly jumped.

At sign in, go to get a new account.

You can't sign into Nook press, the Pubit account isn't synced yet. If you try to sign in, like I did, you will get invalid password.

Once you do the Pubit sign in, that's in Nook Press, it is easy as can be. I got the confirmation email, logged in and I am now in Nook Press with my little characters.

Thank you, B&N.

How long does it take before you get your conformation email? I signed up four hours ago and still no email from them.

I got the confirmation email right away.

It may be delayed for you because of the how many signed in.

If you don't get the email, sign in again, I'd do the get account.

I had this problem with Smashwords. They would send me the email and it never arrived. I had to create a new account and then use a different email account. My current one is Bell South which I am beginning to think is unreliable.

I tried creating another account with the gmail address and it will not let me. So I guess I wait and see.

There's a thread in this topic about gmail.

I think it's not you, but B&N.

I have yahoo mail.

Just synched my PubIt! account to a new NOOK Press account and it sent the confirmation immediately. Not sure what's happening to you. :-/

I have not been able to receive a confirmation email (I have a email address).  I set up my account using my PubIt email and asked to sync them but never got the email. Any suggestions on what to do next?

My pubit email address is That is the one I am having problems with. Gmail is my backup email. I've emailed support about this, but so far I have not heard from them either. I may not get to make the transition. :smileysad:

I know that Yahoo mail doesn't cause any problems for me.

I'd go to the email help and see if there is anything that blocks the email.

Sometimes, you have to let your email account allow emails from places.

Always check your spam folder.

Thanks. I finally got the conformation email. I've no idea what happened or why. I'm just glad everything is resolved. It really looks nice. I am looking forward to a better working relationship with B&N. I really want Nook to succeed.

Do you happen to know why, if we want to change anything in a current book, we have to remove it from sale and lose whatever ratings we've earned? To me, and many others, this seems ridiculous. We know its not an impossibility, we had it and it worked rather well in Pubit. We would simply like for whomever is behind NookPress to re-instate this feature as we all already knows it works.

And what happens to the unpublished book? Does it stay on our dashboards cluttering things up? I know others have tried to use the so-called NookPress chat feature (brilliant concept by the way! -if only it would work-) only to have whoever was on the other end not know anything at all! If we could get someone who can answer our questions to stop by the NookPress Board, you know, schedule a time so everyone who wants to be there can!, and help us out. Do you even realize how happy you'd make us?

I see that there's a suggestion thread opened up for things we want added/fixed for the Nook. Why can't there be an open suggestion thread for NookPress that works the same? Our ideas/problems get looked at, and either they're answered and fixed, or at least someone can tell us you're aware of the problem. Again, do you realize how happy you'd make us?

I hope my comment doesn't get overlooked and ignored by those who can help make a difference.
