My Nook Magazine Purchase Only Comes Up As Text On My PC

On my Nook Color, I have to option to view it as actual digital pages, or text.

What gives?

How come I can't read/see the digital pages on my PC, with my PC NOOK Reader?  I'd like to see the digital pages on my big monitor.
