Re: ePeriodicals Request Thread (eNewspapers/eMagazines)

Michael-V, will this list of eMagazines and eNewspapers really be looked into or is this just a list of our wishful thinking?  Or a place to keep our requests kind of out of the way and more manageable than having someone start a new thread here or a new thread there?  Just wondering...

The above is based upon my opinion... yours may vary!

@Ozman69,

I personally spoke with our Digital Newstand Team prior to posting this thread and can assure you that it is being reviewed by that team.  How can I assure you...?  Because I personally look at the thread and send it to them with the updates.

Awesome.  Thank you very much.  I just had a nagging feeling that this could be used to placate customers and nothing real would ever come of it.

I'm a fan of mental floss and Wired as well. I don't think I'd be able to enjoy them on the nook though, which is why I also left off National Geographic and NG Traveler. It makes me sad :smileysad: It's the only thing that makes the ipad even remotely appealing to me... I can't wait for color e-ink to come along in a few years! I

Re: ePeriodicals Request Thread (eNewspapers/eMagazines)

The only magazines I subscribe to now are Mothering Magazine and Living Without.  If they were available on the nook I'd switch my subscriptions from the paper magazine.  The only other magazines I buy on a regular basis are knitting mags and I don't think they would work out as well since half the reason to get them is for the color photographs.

These magazines I would pay monthly for.

Re: ePeriodicals Request Thread (eNewspapers/eMagazines)

I second ESPN the Magazine. It could even be a dumbed down version with just the main articles and not all the little stats pages or whatever.

Other than that, I'd love to see some journals but those would be career specific. I figure I'll have to contact them directly and if they're willing to do it, I can just side-load or something.

Did someone forget to convert this thread to the NOOKPeriodicals?

Or is this the last solitary refuge of the lower case e?
