I am a nook color owner, I hope you could help me with my problem. I got my NC on Christmas, about 4 weeks ago the charger end of my nook got heat up, smoked, sparked with a blue flame. I quickly take it out of the NC, took it to BN here in bakersfield. The manager took a look at the charger, made a phone call also put me on the phone with a lady. She ask for my credit card # to verify my acc, then told the manager that she will send out a new device in 3 business days (that was on Tues). I waited for over 2 weeks, not thing was send. I made another phone call at 1 800 the book, talked to the same lady, she again ask my for my acc number, told me she will send the device out. This time I ask for confirmation number she said they don't provide that, I ask her to send my a email to confirm my request, she also said no. I also ask if there any complain over the charger issue? she said she never heard of it, but I found out there were several person on this forum have had the same problem with the NC charger.
It has been 4 weeks, and I have not receive my charger, I don't even know if my Nook is even working. This is very frustrating since I paid so much for the device, hope you could help me.
