Re: This is the NOOKperiodicals Request Thread (NOOKnewspapers/NOOKmagazines)

[ Edited ]

My wish list would include:

Woman's World

People

US

My professional journals (which are already available in PDF format and I am hoping will work well on the Nook Color).  I did sideload one onto the classic when I first got it and it is horrible to read on the classic.  Will try it on the Nook color when I get that.

Guns and Ammo

In-Fisherman

Cabelas's Outfitter Journal

Entertainment

The Indie Game Magazine

The current magazine list is disappointing.  Add more business & financial products.

I'd also really like to see The Atlantic and The Economist.  I'm just now deciding between the Nook and the Kindle.  I much prefer the Nook, but would also really like to replace this growing stack of magazines with a little space in an internal memory card.

The Atlantic

The Economist

Re: NOOKperiodicals Request Thread (NOOKnewspapers/NOOKmagazines)

Up to 84 magazines now! :smileyhappy:

@jslakey - The problem would be that most magazines depend on color photographs for illustration. Some of the fictional magazines are available for the non-Color Nook.

One thing I always hated about subscriptions is you end up with a stack of magazines to get rid of. No more having to recycle them!

My vote is for:

Women's World

Cesar's Way

I would love to see these magazines, they are my favorites!

BUST

Nylon

Oxygen

Clean Eating

Cooking Light

Islands (and by association, Caribbean Travel & Life and Florida Travel & Life)

Budget Travel

Hawaii Magazine

Cloth Paper Scissors

Somerset Studio

Any arts magazines would be fun to look at on the Nook Color's BEE-YOO-TEE-FUL screen!  I used to spend millions at the newsstand every time I left the house, now I don't wanna read anything that's not on my wonderful little Nook Color!

And for newspapers...

Detroit Free Press

Key West Citizen (already offers remote subscriptions via PDF download, maybe they'd be open to it!)

Yes, Readers Digest for sure.

One Question:

Are we able to get our own local county newspapers?
