I'm new to and got it for the NYT subscription. For the second time in as many weeks, there is no NYT this morning. Today's edition is not in the Nook library on BN.com either, even though the NY Times's own website is up to date. Does anyone know what is wrong??

I have the same problem (also a new subscriber). Hope they get it sorted out quickly! Did the last missing edition eventually materialize?

Yes, the last missing edition showed up later the same day. The frustrating part is there does not appear to be anyone to complain to. Twice I called the BN customer service 1-800 # and they had no idead what is wrong. The second person understood since she actually went to the BN website and confirmed that the most recent edition available is from yesterday, but she had no explanation. If this is a regular occurrence I'll have to think about going back to home delivery and resume killing trees.

This has been an issue for me for the past few months. That is, B&N's erratic delivery of the NYT every morning. The issue for me was that it was often not available until after 6am EST, the time I usually leave my house to catch a commuter train. The good news is that they have gotten much better in the past month and the paper has been available to download most mornings before 6am. Occassionally, there is a lapse and the paper arrives later in the morning. Today was one of those days...
In June/July I spoke to many B&N customer service reps and even to some people at the NYTs and never got a straight answer about why there were delays. Apparently there is some process that occurs early every morning which converts the NYT into the EPUB format for the Nook. This process apparently takes a few hours... Sometimes it's available as early as 4:30am and other days it shows up much laster in the morning.
I would advise to call B&N CS and log a complaint when it shows up late. Otherwise they won't address the root of the problem.

Same problem, here, with late delivery.
After an hour of repeated calls and holds, I finally received excellent help from a Tech Supervisor and clear answer to today's issue--problem occurred during upgrade and was informed that eTImes would be downloaded to Nook sometime around noon: it was!
And speaking of technology, does anyone know why the special Thursday Technology Section in the print format is not included in the eTimes?
