Anyone have an idea why Newsweek is late this week?
Never had a problem with it before.

Just an update -- new issue did show up sometime between the last time I checked late on Monday afternoon and Tuesday morning. Despite one of the "Subscription Benefits" being "New issues automatically downloaded the morning they are available."
A minor hiccup, but curious nonetheless.

...aaaannd it's doing it again this week. Almost 10AM on a Tuesday and the new issue still hasn't arrived.
This is getting a little annoying.

Well, as it turns out, the issue that should have downloaded 8/15 (but was late) was a double issue (cover dated 8/22-8/29.
So that's why, despite my account saying the next issue should be available for download on 8/22, there was no issue last week.
Of course, it would have been nice if customer service had known this when I contacted them. Instead I got some gobbledygook about "pending charges" (which I knew was wrong) and had to ferret out the real reason on my own by finding a physical copy of the latest issue.
Ah well...
