Admin: HELP! with spoiler review.

Is there anyone on these boards who can help me? I have sent emails to three different Barnes and Noble contact addresses, including several to the one given here for pubit support (pubit at bn.com).

I have not recieved a single response, not even a computer generated acknowledgement that they recieved my emails.

The problem is this. I had a wonderful five-star review by Reader’s Favorite, which they posted on my Barnes & Noble Book page. Unfortunately, there is a significant and unintended spoiler. (The reviewer revealed a character’s name that was purposely hidden throughout the story and revealed only in the climax. The otherwise wonderful review could spoil a good deal of the story for readers.) Reader’s Favorite contacted the reviewer, who immediately altered the review saying it was unintended by her. They were able to edit the review both on their site and Facebook, but informed me, I must contact Barnes&Noble myself and ask that the review be removed. I sent my information as well as the edited review and asked if  they would remove the review altogether or edit it. Reader’s Favorite said they would repost the corrected review. I appreciate any help.

Re: Admin: HELP! with spoiler review.

I know on Amazon one can go in and edit their own review anytime they want. I should think they should be able to do it on B&N, as well. I have never had that problem here. Is the reviewer absolutely sure they can't change it?

Re: Admin: HELP! with spoiler review.

CarlaCo, did you ever get any help with this? I am faced with the same problem. Readers Favorite posted a review for one of my books, but it wasn't edited first, and there are spelling and grammatical errors. It's embarrassing. I sent an email to B&N but haven't received any acknowledgement from them, and the poorly written review stands. Readers Favorite will gladly post a corrected one if B&N would just removed the existing one. I don't know where to turn for help.
