Page Size Formatting

When formatting the page size for PubIt, what is the recommended page size? I have been typing on standard 8.5x11 but I can seem to get the spacing right. Should I use a smaller page size?

In Word page set up I have 1" margins all around. I used 1.5 spacing. Don't use double spacing, it causes gaps and stuff. Use .25 indent on the first line. Page break between chapters. Ask questions and someone will have an answer. You'll get the hang of it and then it isn't confusing.
