Price Change Question

Hello,

Is it possible to change the book price during the review process?  I can not find an option for it.  Or do I have to wait until the book is available for download?

Thanks,

Bridget

Re: Price Change Question

Yeah, you have to wait until its live before you can change the price. Not a big deal really.

Re: Price Change Question

Hi Melissa,

Thank you so much for your help.  I just uploaded my first book to PubIt this past weekend, and it's under review.  I wondered if I was looking in the wrong place to update the book price.

Thanks,

Bridget

Re: Price Change Question

Congratulations on publishing your first book! Doesn't it feel scary, exciting and just plain great?

Re: Price Change Question

Thank you so much.  It does feel scary! It feels really strange!  I feel accomplished, too.  And it is sooo great.  I am so glad barnes and nobles and the like offer this service.  It is tremendously difficult to get brick and mortar publishers to look at your manuscript now and get them to seriously consider it.  So I am very grateful to pubit and bn. :smileyhappy:

Re: Price Change Question

Congrats on your first book. It is an accomplishment to self publish. I forgot a picture in my book and I put it in the document and uploaded again. I did the preview and when I went to look at the titles page, it was published. How may people say, anyone can write a book and how many think they can write a book? You did it. Good for you.

Re: Price Change Question

Writing and publishing a book is definitely on most people's bucklist. I agree with you that Barnes & Noble are offering us a tremendous opportunity to fulfill a dream. What's interesting is the whole "What next?" question. As in will it sell? will people appreciate it? What if they hate it?

Being an author (woohoo!) is a whole lot of work...but thankfully I think that the writing is the easiest part.
