And I think our concerns are probably valid, unless I'm missing something.  The dollar amount owed me prior to the change and the dollar amount AFTER the change - the latter is lower, and I hardly see how that's possible if (even considering that you only show me with one sale yesterday) it should be "higher" ... by at least one sale? 

 

 

Confused and wishing very much I'd downloaded a spreadsheet every day since starting this.

Here is an interesting note. I cannot see any monthly sales in Chrome browser but when I look in Internet Explorer it shows all the months plus view buttons that are just gray in Chrome. 

 

All months look good in IE, however todays sales not showing at all in Chrome or IE and yesterdays seems low for where books were ranking. 

 

 

Love the new sales page with more info to ponder and I am sure all the kinks will get worked out.

I love the new sales page, but like many others, my numbers are incorrect. In addition, the dollar figure does not match up with the sales number. I should have 32 sales at $60.25. The new Sales Sheet is showing 31 sales at $60.14. This one sale is not showing in either the today or yesterday reports either, and that would not account for the money problem. I also saw no sales yesterday or today, but that could simply be because no one bought, but I can't be sure.

I like the new sales page too, and I have read your response but I think my account might still have issues.  When the new sales page came out yeserday the 20th it should on yesterdays sales report that I had sold 126 books on the 19th.  Today the December months totals are updated with the 19th sales included.  It shows 118 sales for the 19th.

 

By the way, I love the new sales page and thoroughly enjoy selling my books on your platform.

In reviewing my Sales page, I am not getting any numbers for monthly sales at all. This morning, I am finding sales for today and yesterday, but no more. Is anyone else finding this at all?

my monthly reports seem fine, but the reported sales for the 20th are still off - I'm only at 25 - 30% of my usual sales for that day - and according to a screenprint I luckily took earlier that day, I know I sold more than what they are reporting for that day. Hope the Pubit Team catches up with it soon.

From what I can tell based on current rankings and previous sales at similar rankings before this new reporting system went in, my numbers are still off from Sunday, December 19th through today. I'm sure everyone at PubIt is working hard to deal with the situation - and I know the holidays are here in full swing. I'm still hopeful that the numbers will all be resolved shortly.

I'm pretty much showing nothing. No last month sales, no this month sales, no daily sales, nothing. So, yeah, I'm not happy. I'm hoping this is going to be something that will be fixed over time, maybe after the holidays. I've tried multiple browsers, so that's not the issue.

 

But I will say I like the new interface. Looks a darn site more useful than the old one, at least if it's ever working.

Have any of you  noticed that when the "Yesterday" report gets added to the MTD report at 9pm PST (or midnight EST), only a small portion of the sales are added? The rest seems lost in cyberspace. It's happened for the 3rd night in a row - and Monday still doesn't have the correct numbers either.

Yes!  I am saving screen caps of the current numbers before they get added (to disappear). I am hoping it will eventually get sorted, but it's a bit of a mystery where the numbers are going at the moment and why only a small part of it is being transferred to the monthly statement.

I'm so glad I'm not the only one with the addition problem. When my "yesterday's sales" get added, it's never the number that was in the subcategory. I wish someone would acknowledge the issue and let us know that we are not going to lose sales!

I've noticed the same thing. Yesterday's sales show one thing, but when it's added to MTD sales, some of them disappear. Earlier, that was correcting itself after about a day, but now it's been 3 days and the sales are still not there.

I posted this in another thread, but hope I can catch the eye of an administrator regarding a similar vanishing of sales reports.

 

(I would like to know if anyone has an actual phone number to an office that handles the Pubit! division.)

 

A couple of weeks ago, we had our October sales vanish completely from the sales report. As of today, our November and December sales vanished from the reports as well.  They are completely gone from the report.  I have written to the general email address listed, and given detailed information, as we do have contact with several readers that have ordered the Nook versions, and can definitely prove those sales occurred, but all I have gotten in response is a form letter (three times in fact).

 

Any advice or help that anyone can give would be appreciated as I would like to get on this first thing Monday morning.

The admin is no-doubt monitoring these threads but they may not know how to respond until they better determine the problem from a technical standpoint.

 

My sales all disappeared as well, including the dropdown menu of previous months and occurred about a day after the payday notification email came. The last couple times this happened, new sales would not appear on my reports even with the past sales reappearing, for up to a week at a time. This is never the case when it is all running correctly - my sales accrue faster than that (always have through all sellers of my titles).

 

This is not meant as a stab at the admin (honestly) but though I have been assured by email some weeks ago and by some of the posts they have offered on the forum, I was never actually told specifically if the accounting of units sold is confirmed, rather than their simply going off of our sales tab pages. If these are used for the accounting with the missing sales glitches occurring, rather than simply reflecting activity (best possible), many of us stand to lose significant numbers of sales.

 

If each of us experiencing this issue is supposed to email Pubit!, please let us know this. It would be awful to realize after a month or two or even weeks that I was supposed to alert them and didn't do so. I would suspect that it is being fixed as a whole and that each of us is not required to email admin regarding it. Correct me if I'm wrong....Please.       Thanks!

Hi Jim,

 

Just wanted you to know that I have emailed Pubit about the problem, and I do think that as a matter of practice every individual experiencing this problem SHOULD email them just so there is a greater chance that they will recognize that something is indeed wrong quicker, and perhaps address it promptly.  I think we should also continue to post in the related threads what kinds of responses that we receive, just in case one of us gets a reply clarifying the matter sooner than others of us, as I know a specific response would ease all of us a little, especially those with hundreds or thousands of sales at stake.

It's funny that I cam to the thread and saw your suggestion that we who are affected by this newest glitch, go ahead and email Pubit! about it because I just did that before checking back here at these threads. Sounds like we're on the same page with this (literally).

 

Hopefully, we'll either see the actual fix of the issue or some input from support that they are in the process of it. I do believe that with their schedules, they may actually need to hear from us, especially if it is an issue only affecting a small percent of us. If that is the case, I hope I will soon escape that minority.

 

As I think about it, it would be really strange if it did only end up being something experienced by only a few of us.
