Seems like a quiet tip-toe entrance. Maybe BN_Alex just hasn't gotten around to posting a Yoo-hoo in all the different forums.. So I am beating him to the punch.
Go Check out Nook Certral.. It was an idea hatched by a thread in the NT forum, BN_Alex said "Great idea" and has been working on it for about 2?? weeks I think.. During that time there were some others threads started where others were looking for something similar.. So hopefully this will take off.
While NOOK Simple Touch forum is a place to talk about true NST questions.. NOOK Central should be the place to go to talk about common NOOK issues, or info you heard about B&N in general..
Seems some great topics were missed by some if you didn't Beep Bop around the forums, and poke your nose into forums for devices that you didn't own.. Other topics were the same topics started multiple times in all the different forums.. Some forums getting more into the topic then others..
This is so that hopefully everyone can benefit from conversation with a larger pool of people..
I think it is a great idea and hope it takes off.

Yup, one of the softest launches in history. The only board in that category so far is called "NOOK Mods" with no further description, which somehow doesn't sound as if it's for general use by us plebs. However, it looks as if everyone has permission to start threads there. I hope Alex will come by and clarify his intentions.

Yeah! They removed it between when I last saw it at work. And when I got home from work, and checked the forum.. Poof.. Gone!
Maybe that was why it was quiet. It was a test run. (Or we weren't suppose to see or be in the Nook Mod as everyone wondered why that name as it seemed to stand for Moderator.
But BN_Alex never told us to get out. Just suddenly Poof it was gone..

He posted right after locking the threads, but it looks like he got rid of the forums so soon after almost no one saw it. lol
He said that he loves us and that he created the area as a placeholder and it wasn't supposed to be visible. I think there was an Oops! in there and there were a few LOLs.
