Under the headings "WHAT TO READ next" and "B&N Top 100" I see 4 books/covers that are shown . The book covers (in my case) are blank with B&N's " n " logo located in the lower right hand corner. ![]()
After activating my Touches Wi-Fi (and returning to the "Home" page), the blank book covers appear as they should
and stay visable as long as I don't "power off". Once I power off and then on again, the book covers revert to their original " blank n ". ![]()
So OK gang.. what's the word?

I have no idea why it doesn't cache the cover between boots, but basically, it will refresh them when you're next connected via wifi.
If you then disconnect, it seems to retain the covers as long as the unit is powered up until some sort of refresh routine kicks in. At least, that's been my experience. I don't power it off that often.
I don't think there's anything we can do about it.
