Had to register all over again

I got a Nook Simple Touch for Christmas, only to have the screen break about a week later. I went to the store today and they replaced the broken Nook, and I re-sort up my account, and did all that stuff, but now all my books are gone and I have NO idea how to get them back. I also had a giftcard registered on the account, but it said that was gone too. I re-entered the gift card, and it still says I bought stuff (original value was $50, now it's like $36 something) So the gift card is back on my account, but no matter what I do, I can't find my books!! I had bought I think 5 or 6.....WHERE DID THEY GO!??!

Are you sure you set it up under the same account? Used the same email address and password? When you reregistered acct email & password should have been all you would have needed to register your second nook.
I have a feeling you now have two accounts. Your old account has your books & gift card attached, and if you register to that original one, all your books & gift card will be on it.
I know I did something similar, I had an account setup before every owning a Nook, ad was reading books with the Nook for PC.. When I got my Nook, I entered my email wrong, and didn't think much about them asking me all my personal info and ccard info on it.. But, then I found I had two accounts..
I had to deregister my nook and reregister with my original account.. Then called Customer Service who couldn't delete the 2nd erroneous account (don't know why).. But could clear it down of all my personal info and ccard info.
