NOOK Simple Touch - Belkin wi0fi issues, BN Support couldn't help

I have a brand new NST, my daughter had it working no problem at her work. She brought it to me at home. I have Belkin wireless router and Time Warner internet. It recognizes my wifi, give me to chance to enter my passowrd, says " turning on"  then says disconnected.

I tried BN online help, which was NO HELP AT ALL. Told me to contact my internet provider. I have spent over 2 hours myself just trying to find info online. I took the spaces and dashes out of my SSID, MAC is disabled.Repeatedly turned it on and off. NOTHING. WI FI protection is  OFF, PING Block is checked, Access point is disabled, don't know if any of the below helps. Any ideas PLEASE !

 SSID Broadcast >Enable  Disable
 Wireless Mode >Mixed (11b+11g)11g Only11b OnlyOff
 Wireless Channel >Auto1234567891011
 Extend Range >Enable  Disable
 Protected Mode >OFFON
 WMM Mode >OFFON
 Turbo Mode >DisableEnable

Are you using the security passphrase rather than the password that you use to log into the router settings?  That seems to be a common mistake that people make.

You are not alone, Geo10. There are a number of threads on this board about connecting to home wifi. I have no idea what you should do, all I can suggest is to read the threads and see if there is a solution for you. Good luck.
