Any way to include a proxy setting on the nookstudy for the next version?

I downloaded a copy of nookstudy and tried to run it, I get the following message:

"Running this application for the first time requires an internet connection.  Please check your network connection and try again."

I have a network connection because I just downloaded the application and installed it.  The problem is, I'm behind a proxy server so I'm suspecting that's the problem.  The application doesn't seem to understand how to use a proxy server.  Would this be correct?  I called the BN tech support line and the rep just said to move my computer to a location that wasn't behind a proxy server and try again.  Otherwise, she couldn't help me, but right now, moving the computer outside the prxy is not feasible.  What can I do in the mean time?  Just wait?  Are there any plans to include a proxy configuration option for Nookstudy?

You could try this:

- Use your browser to go to an Internet website, for example google.com, so that an Internet connection using the proxy is active.

- Minimize the browser so that the Internet connection stays active.

- Now try to run Nookstudy.

That didn't work either.
