Can't Print to NOOKstudy

I've tried to print Word docs and PDFs that were saved on my computer to my "Print to NOOKstudy" and I keep getting an error message that says "The book you are trying to read cannot be found. Try again."

How can I fix this? I would really like to be able to have my PDF power points and syllabi on my NOOK.

Hi,

"Print to NOOKstudy" only works when viewing these materials on your NOOKstudy application, on a PC or Mac.  The NOOK device does not read PDFs, that is why you are receiving this error message on your NOOK device.

What exactly are the issues that you are seeing?  If you can let me know what you do when you have this error message appear or what you are trying to do and the outcome I'd be happy to help you resolve this issue.  The more information you provide the better so that I can have our technical team look into this issue for you.

When I print an html file from my web browser to NookStudy, I receive the following message:

Error Adding File

Unable to add file XXX.pdf to your library due to the following error:

The book you are trying to read could not be found. Please try again.

My guess is that something goes awry in the .pdf conversion/saving process. Either way, I can't get it to work. Thanks.

Can you Uninstall the NOOKstudy application and Reinstall it and see if that works. 

Please let me know either way if that worked. In the meantime  I have our technical team looking into this issue now.

I've done as you said... Unfortunately the feature is still not functioning. I am encountering the same error message trying to print from both Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox.

I exchanged emails with support on this issue, but it seems they don't quite understand the problem.  I have tried printing from the web and word documents, always getting the same message about the document cannot be added because it cannot be found.  Obviously, the document must exist somewhere on my computer for the document to be added.  It simply does not exist (i. e. the conversion to .pdf has somehow failed to store the document).

This is an extremely useful function and hopefully BN can get this fixed.  Having all the documents for a particular course of study easily available in one place that allows note taking / highlighting is a great idea.  Too bad it doesn't function as advertised.

This thread is a few months old...  did this problem ever get fixed?  I'm having the exact same issue on a fresh installation of the application.  I'm running version 1.6.7.13112, and I can't use the "Print to NOOK Study" feature either.  I'm getting the same error message that everyone else in this thread has reported.  Any further word?

Again the error states: There was an error loading your file. See below for an explanation. Lists the file name. The book you are trying to read could not be found. Please try again.

Yup, I'm getting the same problem.  Is anyone actually able to get this to work?  Would be pretty cool and usefull feature.
