Great concept but too limited on eTextbooks.

I am taking 14 units and NONE of my textbooks are available as eTextbooks.  I like the idea though and was very excited to see the concept.  Will now be uninstalling program as it serves no purpose without the eTextbooks.

Don't uninstall.. The lack of books is the publishers still dragging their feet.

Number of e-books has more than doubled in the last 12 months.  Stuff I couldn't get a few months ago is now there. This has all the functionality that I've been wanting, it can only get better.

Re: Great concept but too limited on eTextbooks.

I'm taking masters courses in History, the problem I have found is the books, not necessarily textbooks are not in digital format so it does me no good.  My school wasn't listed in the school list either.  Good idea just not there yet.

Re: Great concept but too limited on eTextbooks.

I'm sorry to hear that we don't have your textbook in digital format yet, but we hope to get it soon.  If you have a moment, please send the specific title, ISBN etc to nookstudycontent@book.com and we'll bump it in the queue.

Also - you mentioned that you're school isn't listed.  Do you mind sharing that information (you can reply to me by private email) and I'll work on that immediately?  We just need the School and Zip Code.

Thanks very much,

Tanuja

Re: Great concept but too limited on eTextbooks.

I already bought my textbooks for this semester, but I decided to check my books in the search box to see which ones were available as an eTextbook. It looks like 1 out of 4 of my books were available. I figure by next semester more books will be available. So maybe next semester I'll look into renting eTextbooks from B&N.
