It should be the same problem for everyone. Your ebook's file is either downloading to the wrong location or you moved/deleted it from the location. I'm running on a mac,but the problem should still be the same for pc.
Your files should be download to Documents>My Barnes & Noble eBooks>"youremailadress"
The eBooks files should be located in the folder that is named after your email in the "My Barnes & Noble eBooks"
If it's ot there you will have to locate your books file and drag it in to the folder that is named after your email adress and that will fix the problem.
This problem seems to be the same for both mac and pc users so just go to where your books are supposed to be downloaded to and make sure all your books are there. If this does not fix your problem sorry I could not help, but it should most likely fix it.Leave comments if it worked or if you have any questions.

I have tried to down load a title at least 5 times receiving the 1009 error each time. I do not know where it is downloading to. It is not being downloaded to the path specified above. I searched my entire computer for any file with the .epub extention and only one shows up "Brahm Stoker's Dracula." I dowloaded that book to test NookStudy. So why can't I read the text book I paid for?
